The recording studio at the Center of Performing Arts is a digital creation station. Since the studio got up and running after the storm, one-hundred four songs have been produced representing five full commercial CDs, seven demo CD projects, and five more albums in production. We take a song from concept to distribution.

Writing - Lyrics only are no problem; we will help you write the music you hear around the words. If you have a basic melody, we will give it structure and a musical arrangement. If you have a full song, we will help you to capture and present your vision in the most marketable package available.

Arranging - After consultation with a producer, each song is given a concept to be musically painted in the recording process. Everything from three piece rock arrangements to full orchestrations is available.

Manuscripts - Songs are made available in printed form if you would like. Your song can be handed to you in the form lead sheets with chords or in the case of fully orchestrated arrangements, a score or individual parts can be provided with transpositions made for each instrument.

Copyrighting - There are several ways to register your copyrights with the Library of Congress. We can explain that process, provide and help fill out the forms, and give you the copies of your material that you will need to enclose with the forms.

Recording - Unlimited digital tracks are available in the studio's audio workstation. Whether you need one guitar track and a vocal or a fifty track production, we have the speed, memory, and disk space to accommodate it.

Post Production - Full digital effects and CD finalizing and mastering software are all onsite, to take recordings to broadcast-quality completion for that radio-ready sound.

Studio Musicians - A vast network of experienced players are available specializing in each of the various musical genres. Not since the Funk Brothers of Motown has recording been this easy. Just add water and stir.

Graphics - Our graphics workstation and designer can create the packaging that will give your project that visual magic that says your music is something special. Photography, graphic editing, superimposing, and composite blending are all done in house.

Music Videos - If you are at the level that Music Videos are desired, we coordinate the integration of your audio tracks and work hand in hand with master film makers to shoot and produce your video. Final broadcast-quality DVDs can be provided.

Mass Reproduction - Various packages are available for you to choose from and pricing is based on quantity. We have pressed as few as one hundred and as many as two thousand in initial production runs. Discounts are available for re-orders.

Webpage - Recording Artists who use our studio have pages available on our website for their personal debut of their product. Photos of the studio experience, cover art, lyrics, album credits, song clips, and performance calendars are just some of the options.

CD Sales and Web Distribution - Fully equipped with e-commerce, we can sell your CD from your webpage. After listening to clips any fan can add the CD to their cart and pay on the spot. Shipping and handling is included.

Artist Representation - At some point in your career it is to your advantage to have a professional quoting the price for your services and booking you gigs. Artists are motivated to give their talent away because of their desire to perform. Use of professional agents and managers insulates the artist from this process allowing the maximum financial return for their services.
